The process of having an experiment accepted and approved at TRIUMF requires review by one of two evaluation committees ( EEC or LSPEC), a technical review and a safety review. The process is defined in a TSOP:

The Safety Review of Experiments that require the irradiation of materials by either proton or neutron beams must follow the protocol laid out in:
