Other Features:

High Intensity Proton Beams:

In order to accommodate requests for fluences of protons at the 1013 protons/cm2 level in a reasonable time, a high intensity irradiation position has been developed for both BL2C and BL1B. The beam spot is smaller (typically 1-2 cm in diameter), but the flux is 10 x larger than the flux at the normal irradiation location.
