Neutrinos and New PhysicsOur understanding of the masses and mixings of neutrinos has increased enormously in the past decade thanks to a broad range of dedicated experimental searches. Despite these advances, many puzzles remain such as CP violation, the possibility of neutrinoless double beta decay, the apparent anomalies at MiniBoone and LSND, and the suggestion of additional neutrino-like species from cosmological data. Neutrino facilities have also proven useful for other searches for new physics, such as dark matter and nucleon decay. The goal of this workshop will be to assemble a broad range of theorists to discuss the current picture of neutrino structure and to discuss how best to use upcoming data to learn as much as possible about neutrinos and other new physical phenomena. |
