TRIUMF Workshop on LHC Results

The ATLAS and CMS experiments at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) have collected a very significant amount of data from proton collisions at a centre of mass energy of 7 TeV. Using this data, these collaborations have been able to narrow the window for the Higgs boson and have strongly constrained many proposals for new physics beyond the Standard Model. The goal of this workshop is to bring together a diverse group of particle physicists to discuss the implications of the existing experimental analyses and to plan out the most promising directions for future searches at the LHC. To encourage the interaction between theory and experiment, this workshop is scheduled directly after the Fall 2011 ATLAS Canada Meeting with the first day (December 14) set aside as a joint ATLAS-Theory session.
